Pilot testing and literacy analysis
I helped analyze more than 100 responses to an initial CHLT-30-based cancer-literacy survey in Ho Chi Minh City. That work supported university funding for a broader collaboration. A later university and hospital partnership expanded the study to more than 1,000 residents.
Research into Design
The research identified literacy gaps around prevention, screening, symptoms, and risk. I used these findings, demographic inputs, and pilot feedback to decide where the interface needed explanations and simpler language.
Key UX Learning
The original experience asked for too much information upfront. The redesign introduced information gradually and used familiar tracking patterns and plain-language explanations.
