Strengthening the B Corp Certification
View the Project ↗
This project was completed during a one-week intensive mini-term focused on corporate sustainability and certification systems. In a compressed timeframe, I analyzed structural challenges facing the B Corp certification, including greenwashing, weak differentiation, and declining consumer trust, and proposed a four-pillar strategy addressing verification, public engagement, policy alignment, and technology-enabled monitoring. The work emphasizes rapid synthesis, systems thinking, and the ability to move from problem framing to a coherent strategic roadmap under tight constraints. This project demonstrates how I approach complex policy and brand credibility problems in fast-moving, real-world settings.
